Chinese restaurants in the United States range from steam-table lunch counters to white-tablecloth Cantonese seafood halls, and most fall somewhere in between: a laminated menu, a lunch special board, and combo plates priced a few dollars below the dinner menu. Ordering by number off the menu is normal and speeds things up, especially at takeout counters. Family-style ordering, where a table shares several dishes with rice rather than each person getting an individual entree, is standard at sit-down spots and usually cheaper per person. Many neighborhood restaurants are cash-preferred or charge a small card fee, so it is worth asking or checking the door before you order. Delivery apps cover most areas, but calling the restaurant directly is often faster and avoids the markup.

Decided to try out their dim sum, since they offered the discount. The service was alright; they did try to ensure we had everything we needed but when they took our order, it was all by memory. They didn't write it down or had any device to record the order. This did result us not getting some items. Unfortunately, the dim sum dishes were very disappointing. We tried the shrimp balls, siu mai, shrimp rolls, rice rolls, and a few other dishes. For some reason, most of the dishes, especially the rice rolls, had a tangy/sour aftertaste. The shrimp balls were small and WAY overcooked to the point where it was almost too hard to bite into. The shrimp rolls had a lot of veggies in it, so it was more like a typical Chinese takeout spring roll. Overall, I don't think there was a dish I could recommend from their dim sum menu. Also, note that the dim sum dishes are made-to-order and NOT a push cart experience like some other places. This was an issue since some plates can come out pretty quickly while others can take much longer. Like we ordered shrimp siu mai towards the end, and after 15 mins, we asked the waiter and he said it was coming. After more time passed, still nothing. We paid

The service experience was very disappointing. The servers were loud, rushed us while taking our order, and made the payment process uncomfortable. During our visit, one of the servers was yelling loudly at someone in the kitchen and dragging a trash can through the dining area, which created an unpleasant atmosphere. Additionally, both servers insisted that we pay separately for the food and the sodas and requested that the soda payment be made in cash. They charged us $2 per soda in cash, despite stating that the menu price was $3 each, and refused to provide a receipt for the cash payment. The servers also repeatedly stated that customers would be charged an additional 3% fee for paying by credit card, which added to the confusion and discomfort during the payment process. To make matters worse, we felt pressured to leave a higher tip despite the poor service and the inconveniences we experienced throughout our visit. Overall, the experience was unprofessional and left us very dissatisfied. The combination of the disruptive behavior in the dining area, the unusual payment practices, the refusal to provide a receipt for cash transactions, and the pressure regarding tipping cr

Very disappointing experience from start to finish. When we arrived for dinner, the restaurant was completely empty. We ordered two entrΓ©es to start, and the waitress immediately questioned whether it would be enough. When we later tried to order additional items, we were told they were unavailable. Instead of giving us time to choose alternatives, the waitress seemed impatient and pushed us toward the dishes she recommended. The service throughout the meal was rushed and careless. Utensils were dropped while serving, and even our leftovers were handled carelessly during packing. The most concerning issue was the bill. We discovered that we had been charged at least $5 more per item than the prices listed on the menu. When we questioned it, we were told the menu had not been updated in six years. If the listed prices are inaccurate, customers should be informed before ordering, not after receiving the check. Despite our frustration, we still left a tip. However, the situation became even more uncomfortable when the waitress confronted us and demanded a larger tip. Poor service, inaccurate pricing, and unprofessional behavior made this an experience we will not be repeating.
